Alicia Dubuis is a photographer based between Paris and Geneva. Drawing her inspiration from the mid-century cinema and brutalist architecture, she creates daring, yet delicate compositions driven by personal exploration. Her artistic practice—spanning still life and fashion—is defined by a constant search for color, textures and subtle balance between minimal lines and deep hues.
With a background in graphic design and extended knowledge in printing processes, she gives her photographs a further dimension by transforming them through different techniques, such as collage. The photographer offers thus a new materiality to her work.
Her distinct visual signature and ongoing research also inform select editorial and commercial collaborations, including Hermès, Kinfolk, L’Artisan Parfumeur or Henry Jacques.
